not in comparison to the potent energy you hold
they are nothing
not in comparison to the magic you project out to the world
and they don’t have to hold you back
they’re simply part of the whole picture of who you are, of your life
and in that picture, there’s so much more…
Beyond pain.
Beyond suffering.
Beyond stories.
Beyond trauma.
There, lies your essence.
There, is all the beauty you may not see in yourself.
And that beauty is what I want to show you.

You can look at your portrait every day and be reminded of your strength, of your power, of the shadows and the light that have made you who you are.
Of your ability to overcome any obstacle, challenge, or loss, because you can see your energy as the unshakeable force it truly is.
For me, the journey of doing these portraits has pushed me far out of my comfort zone. I had to convince myself of something that I had never believed about myself before; that I can offer something of value.
I have always been able to read people’s energy. I both see it visually and sense it viscerally, and now I get to translate that into artwork. You can read more about this here.
Embarking on this work has been an honour. I’ve spent time with some incredible women, connected deeply with them and their magic, and had the honour of expressing that through art.
