This morning I watched the sun rise over our frozen lake. Nothing shifts the senses like those moments.

So true and that sounds so beautiful! I'd love to see the lake. Also, extra points for getting out when it's cold! Watching the sunrise is one thing in warm weather, but getting up and out to see it in Winter is a whole extra level!

These are all really helpful, Tamzin! I think my body believes it’s about to come under attack at all times, but water sounds and the like can help me calm it down a bit

I know how that can feel Robert and it's a horrible feeling. Anxiety and the weight of it can drag us down every minute and can make life so hard. All we can do is tune into those water sounds or whatever takes our focus somewhere else for a moment!
