Yes, this system is so flawed. That “time is money” is what they tell you for “work”, but then when this business people want something creative, we should do it for free for them, for “exposure” or “the credit” (or in coaching, for “the hours towards our next certification level”). I support as many creators as I can, both through Substack and Patreon. I will also support you as I’m able. I appreciate what you’ve shared here. Thank you for the reminder that as creatives, we also deserve to be paid. It’s easy to forget when we aren’t hugely popular celebrities.
