I’m an intuitive artist, writer and mentor, and this space is for creating deeper connections not only to others, but to parts of ourselves that have been forgotten, neglected, or are waiting to be discovered. Last May, in a crowded hotel lobby, I met Nike as we embarked on The Break Fellowship. From the first moment I was both drawn to, and a bit intimidated, by her compelling energy.

Over the next few weeks, Nike and I gravitated towards each other and formed a firm friendship. She had an unnerving ability to both challenge me and make me feel entirely at ease — in the same moment.

People often tell me that my energy can be confronting at first, I have a knack of seeing through masks and reading people exactly where they’re at — which is why I’m do this work in the first place. Usually, it’s a blessing; I always sense how someone is feeling, which allows me to read them and cater to their needs in that moment, even if I only just met them and maybe they have no idea that I’m doing it. But of course, I understand that that may be off-putting/confusing for people at first!

Meeting Nike was like looking into an energetic mirror — I finally understood what people have told me about myself, as she was that person for me.

(For those of you into in Human Design, we’re both 5/1 Manifestors, which perhaps explains it all.)

When Nike asked me to do her portrait, you can understand that I was truly honoured. It still surprises me when someone I admire trusts me to lead them through this process.

To my wonderful soul sister Nike, thank you for shining your light on the world. I see you as a brave and unafraid woman who is entirely herself, and I learnt so much from you.
