Oh my goodness, this really spoke to me today. The unparalleled joy I have of starting a new notebook is partly explained by your beautiful words. There is so much potential hidden within a new notebook. It's just waiting for you to add the spark.

Thanks so much for your comment Louise, lovely to have you here! I relate - there is something seriously magical about cracking open the spine of a new notebook, the possibilities endless and perhaps the excitement of unknown too -- what will we live through while writing in these pages? What will transpire in our lives between now and the last page? Sometimes I notice that new notebooks give me more joy than pretty much any other new thing 😂

Ahh yes, the possibility of the blank page and its potential yet to be revealed! I allow the page to often tell me what it wants. Draw a line, write a word, and see what unfolds 🤩

I love that Georgie! Tell us what it wants... that is true creative flow and intuition at work, isn't it? Beginning with no idea of where it will take us, what will unfold. Thank you so much for being here :)

Such a lovely idea Rolando! Do you ever come back and read them?

Hi Tamzin. Sure, I come back and read them very often. Curiously, I made a post about it

This is a beautiful way to encourage us to just get started! To think: all the blank pages there would be if we hadn’t ever gotten over that fear.

Exactly! I run a course on creativity for my mentoring clients and I can honestly say that the entire first session is always just about that fear that holds us back, the self-sabotage, the getting in our own way. We ALL struggle with it and have to get past the fear to do absolutely anything, and we are SO capable of it!

Yes yes yes. 🙏🏻 An eloquently written call to action and purpose. I suffer from doing all the mundane things because I’m struggling to get my butt in the chair and show up for my art, my purpose. Thank you!

Don't worry Mal, we literally all do it and it takes a lot of courage to show up for our art, for our purpose... It's possible, just flipping hard sometimes! Thanks so much for your comment :)

Flipping hard, yes! But I feel so great when I do get my butt in the seat and show up for my purpose! Thank you!

Beautifully poetic. Birth, Marriage, Death certificates - also paper. I hadn't realized somehow that all the things you listed make up our lives. The fullness that starts from blank.

I love how you put it Shaista, the fullness that starts from blank, how beautiful! It's true, all of these things that are just blank, that then become a whole world, a whole life of deep experiences. Such magic! Thank you so much for your comment x
