Regret, came to visit and stayed awhile after I invited it in to talk. We shared and revisited past times to re assess and consider choices made against current realities . Regret, then told me it had to move on, now satisfied that the best choices were made and lessons learnt.
This has been my path over recent years. It’s enabled me to heal and resolve a lot of past trauma (childhood, ancestral, self inflicted). It was quite the realisation to see that I was already healthy and whole. That it wasn’t me that was broken or needed fixing, it’s the systems of our own creation. The result is I’ve healed myself beyond what is medically believed is possible. So it’s not that true health isn’t possible, it’s the deep inner and mostly misunderstood work that it takes to get us there that we need to understand.
Amber this sounds so fascinating, I'd love to hear more about your journey. Thank you so much for sharing it here with us. I so agree with you -- I get very fed up of the rhetoric that we need fixing or are broken, it is such a thing now especially in the wellbeing industry...
Sorry Tamzin, I’ve only just seen this response and even in reading this entire post here again today I had no idea i’d already read it - never mind that I’d commented last May😆
I’d love to share more of my story with you! And I was nodding my head the entire way through for what must have been a second time I was thinking I’d love to share my story with you! How do I go about submitting a piece? Or do you have a podcast? Either way or any other way, I’d love to chat more.
