It's one thing to believe in yourself, but it's a whole other thing to believe in yourself in public. So how do we do it? In this post I also answer some of your questions about my unique portrait experiences.
Your work is amazing Tamzin! When you talked about your own resistance to moving forward in your strength with your project I felt the feels💕 as you were writing what was in my mind.
Then I got the feels even more when you quoted Dr Tara!!! I had just listened to her, ordered her book and referenced her in my next article. Synchronicity.
Yesterday I read an article from The Atlantic (I wanted to reference it here but couldn’t get the entire article) about scientists having discovered ripples in the structure of space-time. Learning about the images you take it made me feel like that’s part of what you are portraying - all the things we could be, all at once.
Bravo, Tamzin - wisdom and humour all tied up in one thought provoking piece, again! LOVE the bullet points - laugh out loud, but sadly all nail-on-the-head true.
I’m so grateful that you’ve shared this Tamzin. It’s a beautiful insight to the uniqueness of your gift. It can so often be hard to explain what that is, you’ve done a great job! I was about to reply to your note but if I’ve lost it so hope it resurfaces! 💫🙏
