Welcome to Resurface, with me, Tamzin Merivale.
I’m an intuitive artist, writer and mentor, and this space is for creating deeper connections not only to others, but to parts of ourselves that have been forgotten, neglected, or are waiting to be discovered. I’m here to show you just how much you light up the world around you, simply by existing.
My mission is to see the unseen, to hear the unheard, and to bear witness. You can learn more about how I do this here.
To celebrate the community we’ve built through this newsletter, I’ve collated a collection of favourite/best posts from the last twelve months on Substack (and just a few from the end of 2023).
I can’t tell you what a pleasure it is to hear back from you, to engage in fascinating conversations in the comments on Substack, and I’ve even had the pleasure of meeting some of you over the last year! I’m so grateful to every one of you for subscribing, sharing, or simply reading these posts.
What struck me recently was the support I felt from everyone when I unexpectedly had to step back from writing. It wasn’t easy and I missed keeping in touch with you, but knowing you were here, wishing me well and patiently awaiting my return, truly meant everything. Thank you, again and again.
The main objectives of this newsletter are:
to unlock our creativity in accessible and joyful ways, without the overwhelm
to learn what may be blocking our energy, holding us back, or preventing us from living how we want (so that we can break those patterns)
to provide us with deep connection to ourselves and to each other, in what can feel like a very lonely world
to guide us to use our voices for what we believe in, to find that magic, and to light up the world around us with our dazzling selves
With that in mind, I’ve sorted the posts into categories. Feel free to peruse and see what sparks your interest, revisit your favourite posts, or find a new friend in the comments ❤
